Our kombi camper vans are all kitted out with everything you need for an awesome adventure. However, they are not self-contained and so you'll need to stop at camping spots with toilet facilities.
We require an hour of your time at pick-up to show you the ropes, to go over the individual quirks of your home away from home, and finally, to give you some advice on driving a retro van in New Zealand.
You then get to hit the road, pick up some groceries to start you off, take in the scenery along the way, and most of all - enjoy the adventure.
So just pack your clothes, along with your enthusiasm, to experience the best road trip ever!
THE DETAILS:
All our vans are manual gearboxes - there are no automatics in our fleet.
They all have a double bed - some have an additional bed over the top suitable for a child or small adult.
We have a USB charger on board all vans to make sure your phone is always charged for those Instagram worthy photos!
All cooking equipment, crockery, utensils and kitchen linen are provided. Bedding linen is available at an additional one-off charge. A full chattels list will be sent out to you with a booking form at time of your confirmed interest.

Nessa is a stand out van, that's for sure! You'll either be a lover or a hater of her colourful appearance.
If you're confident talking to strangers, then Nessa is the one for you. You'll not be a shrinking violet out there on the roads with her bold, bright vibes. In fact you'll be getting people begging you for a photo with your Nessa!
She'll help you choose the right way at crossroads to reach your desired destination, wherever in our stunning country that might be.
We think Nessa will charm the socks off you, and everyone else she meets on your adventure!

Stella is a quietly, soothing retro van inside with kingfisher blue vibes on the outside.

You create quite a bond with these retro vans within a very short time and we think you'll be quietly surprised by how attached you get to our Stella!

I was lucky enough to be the first 'trial' customer of Rhonda. What an awesome experience . . . four days of absolutely classic old school fun!!!!!
Warren & Lynda were the best at making sure I understood everything that goes with a genuine retro van and had fitted Rhonda out beautifully.
I would recommend this to anyone that wants to do things a little differently for a holiday . . . the saying 'it's about the journey not the destination' came to mind a lot when travelling.
